Infrastructure at Monal Tourist Home Uttarkashi

The property comprises a double story building divided into two wings. The upper story of Wing A has a verandah that overlooks the garden and surrounding fields where you can sit and watch the locals going about their daily business or spot the colourful and gregarious birds that abound the area. Wing B houses the restaurant, sitting area/library/internet facility. The rooms in Wing A are larger than the ones in Wing B.

At present MTH has a total of 9 rooms and 24 beds, spread over the two wings.

• 1 room with twin beds
• 2 rooms with 3 beds
• 1 room with 4 beds.
• 1 room with a partition wall and 4 beds

All rooms have attached toilets with running hot and cold water. Toilets have English/Western seats. Wi-Fi internet facility is available at the guest house.

Food

Food is available on prior request. (see Gallery) Please inform us of your meal requirements so we can provide you with wholesome, nutritious home-cooked meals. Please check the meals we serve and the rates below:

• Breakfast - 7:00 - 10:00 AM - Menu available in room.
• Lunch - 13:00 - 14:00 PM - Unlimited Buffet @ INR 350 per head.
• Dinner - 20:00 - 21:00 PM - Unlimited Buffet @ INR 350 per head

 

Please Note: The rooms do not have any Television, Air-Conditioning, or Room Service, and there are 33 stairs to reach the property. 
This place is best enjoyed by people interested in delving into nature, and spending a relaxing, quiet, outdoor life.
